Privacy policy

Draft for review. It describes what the site actually does today, but should be checked by a lawyer before launch.

What we collect

Account data (email address and password credentials, handled by our authentication provider), contact details you enter (name, phone), delivery address, and — for business buyers — company name and VAT ID. We also store your cart contents, configurations and order history.

Card details are never seen or stored by us. Payment is handled entirely by our payment provider on their own hosted form.

Why we process it

To perform the contract: producing and delivering your order, invoicing, and handling warranty or delivery problems. To meet legal obligations: VAT records and accounting retention. To secure the service: preventing fraudulent orders.

Who we share it with

Our hosting and database provider, our payment provider, and the manufacturers and carriers who build and deliver your order — each only with the data they need for that purpose.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for the statutory retention period that applies to accounting records in the Netherlands. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and object to processing. Email hello@work-style.eu and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.
